1. I learnt that the Internet actually originated from the network project by the Pentagon Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) to allow scientists at different location to share information and it became functional on September 1969.
2. The Internet has grown from 4 host nodes in 1969 to 200 million today.
3. You can connect to the Internet using either the slow-speed technology or the high-speed connection.

7. The graphic formats that are used on the Web are BMP, JPG, PNG, GIFF, TIFF.
8. E-commerce is buisness transaction that occurs over the Internet.
9. E-mail is short for electronic mail and it is the transmission of messages and files via a computer network.
10. Netiqutte is the code of acceptable behaviors users should follow while on the Internet.

1. Web 2.0 sites allow users to interact and collaborate with each other in a social media dialogue as creators (prosumers) of user-generated content in a virtual community.
